Ministry Lead: Sis. Catherine Hare With the Arts and Drama Ministry, our desire is to deliver the word about our Savior through acting.  We can do this by using various types of speeches, plays to bring to life stories of the Bible, and to help stimulate an awareness of the importance of having Christ in our lives.  Most of all, we seek to evangelize and be a witness for Christ.

Evangelism/Outreach:  Matthew 25:34-40; Luke 4:18-19

Evangelism is our call to share our faith with our neighbors, be it as small as a one-on-one talk with a co-worker or as large as a Billy Graham Crusade. Evangelicals tend to differentiate between “missions” and “evangelism” primarily by location (missions is abroad, whereas evangelism stays close to home), but the end goal is the same: to be Jesus Christ’s witnesses to all people.

The Media Ministry works to get the audio and visuals made every week for service and other events that happen at “The Haven”. We also work behind the scenes on the church website and uploading videos and the podcasted sermons for download.

In addition to the audio-visual aspect of the Media Ministry we also creates graphics for visuals and print like flyers and brochures.

We are expanding our visual effects with stage lighting and are looking for people who are into social media to run out Facebook and Twitter pages.

Prayer Ministry: Intercessory prayer is prayer for others. An Intercessor is one who takes the place of another or pleads another's case. An Intercessor stands in the gap for others. Jesus Christ is our model for intercessory prayer.  Jesus stands before God and between Him and sinful man, just as the Old Testament priests did. The Intercessor should have a heart for go before God for others., praying for the church, the pastors, the congregation and others.
